The problem and the solution

We were instructed by our client to assist with supporting Loss Adjusters and Insurers in the early stages of a significant fire loss to a warehouse.

Using our UAV were provided imagery of the extent of loss together with a 2D georeferenced orthomosaic of the site allowing accurate measurements to be made without requiring physical access to what was still a dangerous site.

Positive Outcomes:

Rapid deployment of UAV to enable data collection at the outset of the claim
Rich data gathered from a dangerous site allowing for analysis away from site in safety
Orthomosaic allowed accurate measurements from desktop without requirement to enter the site.
